Is there an interesting story behind your username? no
Location and language(s): US, English
Age range (e.g 20s, 30s, etc.): 30s
Hot button/deal breaker issues that will likely lead to unfriending: nsfw fandom content, the things listed in my bio
Do you have an "About Me" post new friends can read to get a sense of who you are, the people you talk about regularly, etc.? my bio and pinned post exist, yes
Is your profile up-to-date or at all useful? probably
List a few things you think it's important new friends know about you right away: I am seeking interaction on here. I understand people don't always have stuff to say, but if I'm here to make friends but all we do is silently follow each other, that's not much of a friendship. I've failed so far to stick to stuff like this because people don't interact. I suck at interacting myself tho, but that may be because I've yet to find anyone I super click with. but I like this place much more than... say, twitter.
You mostly write about: video games and other dumb stuff
You never or very rarely write about: anything I'm not into
Is your journal mostly public, locked, or a mix of public and locked? it's new and I'm unsure about what approach I want to take.
Do you use filters for certain types of posts (e.g. fandom-related posts, or posts about sex, or mental health issues, etc.)? no
Your posting frequency (e.g. daily, every few days, weekly, etc.): I dunno. we'll see how I feel. I used to hold myself to a weird rigid weekly thing and then stopped posting altogether... hoping making myself be more fluid with it will make me want to post more.
Does your journal frequently include any of the following: memes, linkspams, gifs, photos, videos, etc? maybe pictures, we'll see. posting them is kind of a pain, but maybe.
What do you enjoy most about journaling?
How often do you read your friends list (e.g. daily, every other day, once a week, etc.)? usually daily
You really enjoy reading about: I dunno.
You have very little interest in reading about: check my bio for this
Your thoughts on journals that regularly include any of the following: memes, linkspams, gifs, photos, videos, etc? it's whatever
When it comes to comments on your posts, what matters more -- quality or quantity? I don't know, really.
Do you unfriend people who don't comment much, even if you know they are reading you regularly? no
What is your approach when it comes to commenting on other journals? I comment when I can. uh.
When you friend someone, but things don't really click, do you unfriend them without warning, or do you send them a note first? How do you prefer to be unfriended in similar circumstances? I silently remove people, and don't need notification from others that may not be interested in my journal anymore.
AND LASTLY
Friending memes often ask people to list their favourite TV shows, movies, books, etc., but more often than not, those aren't things people actually write about in their journal. Do you have any favourite TV shows, movies, books, etc., that you DO often write about -- not necessarily in a fandom sort of way, just in general? new journal... we'll see. Splatoon and Old School RuneScape may be semi-frequently posted about.
Any final thoughts you'd like to share with potential new friends? sorry this post kind of sucks lol
