Is there an interesting story behind your username?
Not really haha. I like to make crafty things, but I like to make them with care for detail, so that anyone I may give it to doesn't get a crappy craft, hence the name.

Location and language(s)
US. I only know english *sads* Outside of quality time with my love, crafting, work, video games and ebay stuff, I just don't have the brain capacity to memorize another language.

Age range (e.g 20s, 30s, etc.)
Old enough to wonder how a klutzy person like myself has never broken a bone. I'm well over 25 though.

Hot button/deal breaker issues that will likely lead to unfriending
2020 was a dumpster fire of a year for me. I grew very pro-vaccine/masking from it. Also those who, in privacy, like to gossip about or bully others, will get an instant defriend. I will not deal with that one what-so-ever. While I haven't seen any issue with it otherwise, other deal breakers include intolerance, bigotry, sexism, racism etc. And last but not least, I don't like politics. I understand and won't defriend you if there's mentions of politics here and there, please understand, but if it's all you post about, I may lost interest.

Do you have an "About Me" post new friends can read to get a sense of who you are, the people you talk about regularly, etc.?
Yes, I do. It's little and bare bones right now, but I will be adding to it.

Is your profile up-to-date or at all useful?
Like my About Me post, it's very bare bones right now, but it'll eventually get more populated.

List a few things you think it's important new friends know about you right away..
Nothing I haven't already covered in the deal-breakers category. Though, to be fair, I should mention that I deal with adhd, depression, anxiety, and paranoia. It may come up a bit, it may not. My life isn't always rainbows and sunshine, and I sympathize and understand if yours isn't either, that's totally fine.

You mostly write about..
Life endeavors, creative endeavors, silliness from time to time, and some mentions of video games too.

You never or very rarely write about..
It's a hard one for me to answer because some of the things I like to write about are daily thoughts. My head is always going 90 miles an hour, sometimes about the most random things so I can't say I won't write about *insert topic here*, BUT, I tend to stay away from politics, as thinking about politics only makes my blood boil.

Is your journal mostly public, locked, or a mix of public and locked?
It will be mixed, but a big portion of my posts will be friend-locked.

Do you use filters for certain types of posts (e.g. fandom-related posts, or posts about sex, or mental health issues, etc.)?
Yes and no, while this is a new (kinda) journal of mine, I was on LJ for years and I used cuts for many things, including long posts, or posts with pictures or video. I don't plan to write about anything triggering, per say, but if I feel it may be triggering, I'll put it in a cut.

Your posting frequency (e.g. daily, every few days, weekly, etc.)
I don't currently have a set frequency because my jobs have been hectic, but things are calming down, so every other day - every 3rd day?

Does your journal frequently include any of the following: memes, linkspams, gifs, photos, videos, etc?
Photos, gifs and videos, probably but if it's more than one, I'll use a cut.

What do you enjoy most about journaling?
Talking about things, whether it be talking to friends or talking about things in posts. I like it all, really.

How often do you read your friends list (e.g. daily, every other day, once a week, etc.)?
Same as posting frequency!

You really enjoy reading about..
Whatever, really. I'm not picky. I mean, there are things I won't relate as much to, such as posts about being a father/mother, but I not at all against reading about it. I most like reading about others thoughts, creativity and video games.

You have very little interest in reading about...
Deeply political posts are really the only thing I'm currently thinking of.

Your thoughts on journals that regularly include any of the following: memes, linkspams, gifs, photos, videos, etc?
So long as it's under cut, if it's a lot, I don't mind any of it.

When it comes to comments on your posts, what matters more -- quality or quantity?
I'm gonna say quality. But that said, even if it's a short comment, knowing someone cares to take the time to say something here and there is a thing for me too.

Do you unfriend people who don't comment much, even if you know they are reading you regularly?
Not really. I value trying at a real friendship, in which I place value on interaction to some degree, but if I know you're going through a funk, if you're dealing with some heavy stuff, or if you're on hiatus, I will understand and I won't defriend. However, if one were to say absolutely nothing at all, and over a long period of time, I'd be more on the side of unfriending.

What is your approach when it comes to commenting on other journals?
I like to talk so I will often say something on other's posts, if I have something to say or can relate to it.

When you friend someone, but things don't really click, do you unfriend them without warning, or do you send them a note first? How do you prefer to be unfriended in similar circumstances?
Silently, but again, someone would have to absolutely say nothing at all over a long period of time to be unfriended.

AND LASTLY

Friending memes often ask people to list their favourite TV shows, movies, books, etc., but more often than not, those aren't things people actually write about in their journal. Do you have any favourite TV shows, movies, books, etc., that you DO often write about -- not necessarily in a fandom sort of way, just in general?
Video games! A lot of Switch games, and some games on the phone. Podcasts are another one, though I'm still new to that world, though. I love mystery, paranormal and comedic podcasts.

Any final thoughts you'd like to share with potential new friends?
I can't think of anything.
Hm...
I guess something that wasn't covered above would be hobbies. I like to create! Cook, sew, write, organize, clean, do patchwork, and fix broken things. I can finger knit, I need more practice though.
