Is there an interesting story behind your username?  Not really...it's just something I randomly thought up years ago and decided to resurrect it for this journal. :)

Location and language(s): USA; English

Age range (e.g 20s, 30s, etc.): 40s

Hot button/deal breaker issues that will likely lead to unfriending: Any heated disagreements over religion/politics. I respect people with opinions differing from my own, and I try not to get into these topics that often, but occasionally something will catch my attention and I'll blog about it.

Do you have an "About Me" post new friends can read to get a sense of who you are, the people you talk about regularly, etc.?  I normally don't like doing "About Me" posts because I figure people will get a better sense of who I am through my actual blog posts.

Is your profile up-to-date or at all useful? To be honest, I don't have much patience with doing profiles, but if asked I will.

List a few things you think it's important new friends know about you right away: I'm a conservative; I'm Catholic; sometimes I blog about the most random and/or mundane things; I'm very opinionated

You mostly write about: Things that happen in my day

You never or very rarely write about: Hot button issues that I really can't stay calm about

Is your journal mostly public, locked, or a mix of public and locked? Public, mostly

Do you use filters for certain types of posts (e.g. fandom-related posts, or posts about sex, or mental health issues, etc.)? I've never really written about those, but I will if I should happen to do so.

Your posting frequency (e.g. daily, every few days, weekly, etc.): I try to post daily. :)

Does your journal frequently include any of the following: memes, linkspams, gifs, photos, videos, etc? Sometimes; not all the time, unless I'm feeling very lazy.

What do you enjoy most about journaling? Eh...just getting thoughts out of my head, really...makes me feel like Dumbledore using his Pensieve.

How often do you read your friends list (e.g. daily, every other day, once a week, etc.)? Daily

You really enjoy reading about: Anything, really.

You have very little interest in reading about: Nothing's uninteresting.

Your thoughts on journals that regularly include any of the following: memes, linkspams, gifs, photos, videos, etc? I don't mind. Just please...if you have a lot of them in one post, put them under a cut. :)

When it comes to comments on your posts, what matters more -- quality or quantity? Either way. I don't mind which.

Do you unfriend people who don't comment much, even if you know they are reading you regularly? No, because I realize some people might not be comfortable commenting, and that's not something to fault them for.

What is your approach when it comes to commenting on other journals? If something catches my eye and interest, I'll usually opine.

When you friend someone, but things don't really click, do you unfriend them without warning, or do you send them a note first? How do you prefer to be unfriended in similar circumstances? I hate unfriending people, and I usually won't unless there's a major, major blowup.

AND LASTLY

Friending memes often ask people to list their favourite TV shows, movies, books, etc., but more often than not, those aren't things people actually write about in their journal. Do you have any favourite TV shows, movies, books, etc., that you DO often write about -- not necessarily in a fandom sort of way, just in general? Not really, unless the show, movie, or book has really affected me in some profound way.

Any final thoughts you'd like to share with potential new friends? I'm just a harmless little fuzzball who wants nothing more than to meet other people. :D
