Is there an interesting story behind your username? I'm a binturong therian. :P

Location and language(s): USA, English, learning Spanish. I will be moving to Central America soon.

Age range (e.g 20s, 30s, etc.) mid 20s.

Hot button/deal breaker issues that will likely lead to unfriending: I am pro-Palestine, pro-trans women, and against all forms of bigotry. I am also against censorship of and harassment over fiction. If you disagree, I don't necessarily know if my journal is the place for you... sorry.

Do you have an "About Me" post new friends can read to get a sense of who you are, the people you talk about regularly, etc.? I sort of do? I really should make an in-depth one, one of these days, but I already post a lot and I don't want to spam people's reading pages...

Is your profile up-to-date or at all useful? Sorta. It's kind of brief.

List a few things you think it's important new friends know about you right away:
1) I'm a plural system, so I have memory loss & other alters post here too
2) I'm neurodivergent sometimes I act odd or don't get social cues/misunderstand things
3) I'm half a fandom journal and half a personal one, and I have some darker fictional interests
4) I talk about spiritual stuff & being a psychic medium sometimes, it is real to me. I understand skepticism but please, don't be rude about this.

You mostly write about: My life, my creative work, complaining, fictosexuality & alterhumanity, plurality, disability justice, fandom stuff, spirituality

You never or very rarely write about: Triggering content that isn't warned for and under a cut; uhhh other than that you might see anything. I try not to post "discourse" or arguments/controversial topics though. But I am an opinionated person so sometimes it does slip through.

Is your journal mostly public, locked, or a mix of public and locked? It is access locked.

Do you use filters for certain types of posts (e.g. fandom-related posts, or posts about sex, or mental health issues, etc.)? No.

Your posting frequency (e.g. daily, every few days, weekly, etc.): I post at the very least every week.

Does your journal frequently include any of the following: memes, linkspams, gifs, photos, videos, etc? Eh sorta. I post photography sometimes. I want to start posting linkspams of things I find interesting. I also post memes sometimes.

What do you enjoy most about journaling?  I like how private it can be while still giving me the ability to interact with others. I like how it gives me the ability to make connections with people that feel more genuine and personal than connections made on mainstream internet websites. Everyone is so nice!

How often do you read your friends list (e.g. daily, every other day, once a week, etc.)? I check my reading page multiple times a day. I'm trying to make DW my main platform so I'm on here a lot... :')

You really enjoy reading about: Any kind of fandom thoughts, any kind of stuff about an individual's creative work, deep thoughts

You have very little interest in reading about: Just anything closed-minded

Your thoughts on journals that regularly include any of the following: memes, linkspams, gifs, photos, videos, etc? ...You do you?

When it comes to comments on your posts, what matters more -- quality or quantity? I  don't care I just like hearing from people!

Do you unfriend people who don't comment much, even if you know they are reading you regularly? No! Comments are optional for me. While I enjoy them, I just like talking on here in general, it's not a requirement.

What is your approach when it comes to commenting on other journals? I don't know... I just try to be respectful? Is there a particular approach I should have? I'm still kinda new here :')

When you friend someone, but things don't really click, do you unfriend them without warning, or do you send them a note first? How do you prefer to be unfriended in similar circumstances? I don't usually tell people unless they ask for it. I don't care if people tell me or not. I would prefer to know, so I don't forget in the future and add you back, but it's whatever.

AND LASTLY

Friending memes often ask people to list their favourite TV shows, movies, books, etc., but more often than not, those aren't things people actually write about in their journal. Do you have any favourite TV shows, movies, books, etc., that you DO often write about -- not necessarily in a fandom sort of way, just in general?

Yeah. I frequently post about: The Orville, Babylon 5, Doom Patrol.

Any final thoughts you'd like to share with potential new friends?

I'd love to meet anyone who isn't put off by any of the above and make new friends!!!
